Hindi Diwas is celebrated every year on 14th September to commemorate the adoption of Hindi as an official language of India. GMA International School will mark the occasion with a Kavi Sammelan — a poetry recitation competition for all classes where students express themselves through original verses, shayari, and literary compositions celebrating the beauty and richness of the Hindi language.

GMA International School will celebrate the auspicious festival of Ganesh Chaturthi with special age-appropriate programs and cultural activities. Students will learn about the significance of Lord Ganesha — the remover of obstacles and the deity of wisdom and new beginnings — through stories, art, craft, music, and devotional activities.

17th September 2026 is a tentative holiday on account of Vishwakarma Puja — a celebration dedicated to Lord Vishwakarma, the divine architect and craftsman of the universe. The day honours all creators, engineers, artisans, and skilled workers. Students and staff are encouraged to appreciate the spirit of craftsmanship and innovation.

The Half-Yearly Examinations commence on 28th September 2026 for Classes I and above, covering all major subjects as part of the mid-year academic assessment. Simultaneously, Observation–3 begins for Pre-Primary (PG to KG) students — a holistic assessment focusing on cognitive development, social skills, creativity, and age-appropriate learning milestones.

The final day of September brings triple celebrations! September-born students are honoured in a special Birthday Celebration. The entire school participates in a fun-filled Class Party with games, music, and treats. VIBGYOR Day encourages every student to come dressed in the colours of the rainbow — celebrating diversity, creativity, and the vibrant spirit of GMA International School.

At GMA International School, we believe that festivals play an important role in nurturing cultural values, joy, and togetherness in children. We look forward to celebrating Mahashivratri and Holi with our students and parents in a meaningful and vibrant way.
